AF launches a three tier campaign

Posted on 05 August 2011 |

AF International, the leading UK-based computer and IT cleaning products manufacturer has announced its ambitious plans to increase the marketing effort behind the AF brand in support of the UK business and domestic end user markets.

"Historically our marketing campaigns have supported our dealers and resellers but our new marketing strategy also involves creating vital demand from amongst the end user market. The three tier approach will generate the demand from the end user, as well as providing marketing support to the reseller allowing them to actively get involved" commented Ron Jakeman, Group Managing Director. Ron added "Although we live with the facts every day, people don't fully appreciate just how contaminated and unhygienic their computer and gaming equipment is. Illness amongst the workforce and family is the end result which can be avoided so easily."

The promotional activity directed at AF's traditional business-based end user audience exploits digital opportunities such as online advertising and e-marketing campaigns.

The media strategy aimed at AF's new domestic household sector centres around national press advertising and driving customers to AF's ecommerce website. Both campaigns have been developed to feature the sobering facts about germs and micro-organisms found on computer equipment in the average office and home.

"It's important to develop initiatives to help drive sales from consumer to reseller. This campaign shows AF's commitment to develop the brand, create essential end user awareness and increase market potential", commented Karen Harrison, Marketing Manager at AF.

The campaign was launched July 2011.
